Pan’s People Sing!

Here is a rare example of Pan’s People singing. It is taken from the “Pan’s People In Concert” programme broadcast on 17 April 1974. By the girls’ own admission it was not their greatest routine ever – but interesting nonetheless.

(see below for song lyrics – you should hear the song in a few seconds)

There are smiles that make us happy

There are smiles that make us blue

There are smiles that steal away the teardrops

As the sunbeams steal away the dew

There are smiles that have a tender meaning

That the eyes of love alone can see

But the smiles that fill my heart with sunshine

Are the smiles that you gave to me
